Vanilla Ice

We can all easily think of 25 reasons Vanilla Ice should stop making music. After his song "Ice Ice Baby" came out in 1990, the first hip-hop single to hit No. 1 on the pop charts, he became the butt of a million jokes. America took back its love with blinding speed and shat all over the Dallas-bred rapper born Robert Van Winkle, at which point he should have found a new hobby and left music alone forever. But did he? No! And why in God's name not? Because Ice really loves making music. Ninety-nine percent of the people who have had to endure what he has would have been ridiculed out of the game by now, but he's still touring. You can't stop him, but you can check him out in Clear Lake Saturday, playing an interesting blend of rap, hardcore and heavy metal.
